Setup

Mark out a box about the size of a volleyball court and put everyone inside it. No ball needed.

How it runs

  1. Everyone may move by defensive slide only – no running and no crossover steps.
  2. For ten to twenty seconds, everybody tries to tag as many other players as possible.
  3. A tag only counts at knee height and may be deflected by the player being tagged.
  4. A player who is tagged steps out, does one tuck jump or push-up, and rejoins immediately.

Coaching point

Knee-height tags force everybody to stay low, which is the whole reason for the game.
