Setup

Four lines of players along the baseline about twelve to fifteen feet apart: one in each three-point corner and one at each edge of the lane. The front player in each line has a ball.

How it runs

  1. On the signal, the player attacks with either a direct drive or a crossover drive.
  2. He dribbles to the free throw line extended and comes to a quick stop.
  3. He makes a quick rear turn, then passes the ball back to the next player in his line.
  4. He uses a change of pace to get back to the end of the line and the next player goes.

Coaching point

Stay low, keep the body balanced and hold a wide base of support.
