Setup

Pairs work anywhere in the half court, one behind the other, with no ball needed at first.

How it runs

  1. The attacker chooses a side and starts to move around the defender.
  2. If he goes to the defender's left, the defender steps into him with the left foot.
  3. The defender then reverse pivots on that foot to seat the attacker behind him.
  4. Hold the position for a count of two, then reset and repeat to the other side.
  5. Add a coach's shot so the pair finishes the rep by going for the ball.

Coaching point

Step into the attacker before pivoting — the contact comes first, the turn second.
