Setup

A player stands in front of the backboard holding a ball in two hands.

How it runs

  1. Jump and slam the ball against the backboard with both hands as hard as possible.
  2. Land, gather quickly, and jump again.
  3. Keep going continuously for the prescribed time or number of reps.
  4. Finish by putting the last one in the basket.

Coaching point

Maximum height and maximum force on every jump – this is not a rhythm drill.
