Setup

Half court, chairs for the spots, and a dedicated rebounder and passer – this workout only works at pace if the shooter never chases a ball.

How it runs

  1. Short-long warm-up at seven spots, ten makes at each distance.
  2. Chair pivots working the front pivot, ten makes.
  3. Wing shooting for ten makes, then ten makes off one dribble, then ten off two dribbles.
  4. Break shots from the corner for ten makes, then corner with one dribble, then trailer, then trailer with one dribble – ten makes each.
  5. Corner pin action and floppy cuts, ten makes each.
  6. Close with a five-spot shooting game and a free throw game.

Coaching point

Everything is counted in makes, which is what separates this from a high-volume workout.
