Setup

Driver starts at the top of the key; two helpers with pads stand one on each block. A coach signals which helper steps up before each rep.

How it runs

  1. Driver attacks the middle off a hand-off from the coach.
  2. One helper steps into the driver's path; the other stays or rotates to the rim.
  3. Driver chooses the finish: euro step away from the first helper, floater over him, reverse away from the rim protector, or up-and-under if a helper jumps.
  4. Helpers bump with pads but do not foul the shot.
  5. Rotate the driver and helpers every three reps.

Coaching point

Read the first helper early to choose the finish.
